We’re looking for a lodger for the top floor of our family home which is situated on a lovely street in Shepherd's Bush. Our guest room takes up the whole of the top floor of the house. The room has a double bed with its own en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The room also has a desk and chair, a wardrobe, a chest or drawers and other built in storage if needed. It also has a full length mirror. There is a clothes drying rack. There is a lock on the inside of the door. Female guests preferred. It also has its own large private balcony located at the back of the house with a lounger chair and table. The downstairs is open plan with a living room and kitchen / diner with french doors leading to a decked garden. We are very happy for you to use the kitchen to cook, make drinks etc. Ours is a typical London mid terrace family home which is situated in an excellent location a stone's throw away from the Uxbridge Road. This is ideal for a working professional who'd appreciate their own space in a family home Monday to Friday in London. I work in the media and I mainly work from home and you’d also be sharing our home with my very busy daughter who is at school. We also have a very friendly ginger cat who loves meeting new people. Happy for belongings to be left during the weekend. I would prefer a stable ongoing arrangement rather than short-term stays, This upper floor area would be best suited to a working professional with no regular overnight guests. Bikes can be left in the back garden which is fenced in. All bills are included (water, gas, electricity, council tax and internet) and a cleaner comes weekly (for which there is no extra charge). The spare room will be available from June 26th onwards with flexibility over the move in date. A down payment returnable deposit of one month’s rent is required.
