Rent a room in Aurora District

About the roomTownhome is 1474 ft.² and is located in Aurora on Alameda Parkway in Buckley. The townhome is pretty new since it was built in 2020. The unit is three bedrooms 2 1/2 bathrooms and one of the rooms is available for rent.The room is located on the second floor amongst all of the other bedrooms and is roughly 13‘ x 10 1/2‘ and there is a partially shared bathroom outside of the room. This specific room is located opposite of our room (the home owners) so there is a bit of privacy in that regard. The room in question is pictured as the room with the exercise equipment in it, etc., which will be removed and deep cleaned before you come.And as mentioned earlier, there is a shared restroom outside of the room. The only person that uses this restroom is our 12 year old daughter, who is only living with us 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time, the restroom is all yours. There’s also a half bathroom located downstairs as well. We are open to a child tagalong in the room for $1000 a month instead of the $825 asking rent.Parking is simply street parking in front of the unit. Internet, water, sewer, trash, electricity are all included in your rent.We value an incredibly clean and organized household. The open spaces are available to you as well such as the kitchen, living room, etc. there’s also a Peloton Bike+ in the garage are more than welcome to use.We can be flexible on the deposit.About the roomiesThere are currently three people living in the unit. Myself and my partner are an interracial couple who are the homeowners, and our daughter who is only living here 50% of the time. We are in our late 20s early 30s and our daughter is 12 years old. We currently have a cat and two very small dogs who mostly stay downstairs and mind their own business.Both of us are professionals and have careers. Both of us work from home a majority of the week as well. When we aren’t working, we can be homebodies from time to time, but also like to get out and watch movies, hang out with our family and friends, etc. we are also big into video games, boardgames, and more. We don’t tend to have much company over so you don’t have to worry about meeting new people constantly here.Since we work from home, we do prefer a roommate that doesn’t always work from home either so that the house doesn’t feel crowded during the day, but it’s not a dealbreaker by any means. At the end of the day, we are hoping for a roommate that’s going to pay on time, is clean, respectful, and chill!
