Stylish City Living in Cuba Precinct This 50sqm apartment is situated at the top of Wellington's most vibrant area - Cuba Street - with its boutique shops, cafés and some of Wellington's best known eateries. Walk to the CBD and the waterfront - in fact, park the car and walk everywhere. Tui (a play on the apartment number, 2E) is a super sunny and warm 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment located in the funky QBA - pronounced “Cuba” - apartments. The apartment, with its good seismic rating, has a large north-facing floor-to-ceiling window that looks straight down Cuba St, as if you own it! The south-facing double bedroom is separated from the lounge by a short corridor and door. The separate bathroom (shower, basin, toilet) is off to the left behind a sliding door, and large understairs cupboards are on the right. The combination washer/dryer is inside one of these cupboards. The open plan living/dining area flows past a breakfast bar that suits two people into a small and perfectly formed kitchen (noting it does not have a dishwasher). The apartment is on level 2 but feels more elevated due to each level in QBA having high studs. Access is DOWN a flight of stairs from the lift-accessed communal hallway so the apartment only suits people who can navigate stairs. (The apartment itself is all one level with a small rise in the corridor and a step into the bathroom.) There’s a large lockable storage unit in the basement for your personal use, as well as plenty of storage inside the apartment including an inbuilt wardrobe with additional storage above, and storage up high above the bathroom. Bike racks are normally available in one of the underground garages (free to use but sometimes a waitlist; list managed by body corporate). The bond is two weeks rent, payment is fortnightly with two weeks rent in advance, and we offer a minimum six-month tenancy (longer if you prefer), then going to a periodic tenancy with three weeks' notice.
