Hi! I’m looking for a roommate to fill a one-year lease starting September 1st. This is a bright, quiet first floor apartment on a residential street in Old Irving Park. The landlord occupies the top floor and one other tenant is in the basement.This 2br, 1 bath apartment has a living room and separate dining area, and a large kitchen with separate pantry and sunroom/breakfast nook. Each bedroom has carpeting, a closet, and easily fits a full-size bed. There is a dedicated office off the kitchen as well. Cozy backyard space with table and chairs. Free laundry in the basement and radiator heating/gas paid by landlord. Electricity and internet would be split between the roommates.The location is a 10-minute walk to Cicero/Irving Park shops – Aldi, Jewel, Target, Walgreens, Marshalls. It’s a 16-minute walk to Irving blue line or Metra station, and 5-10 minute walk to Irving Park Rd, Milwaukee Ave, and Cicero buses. Easy to find (and non-permit) street parking.You’d be sharing the apartment with one other person (me), she/her, mid-30s, non-smoker, no pets, clean, conscientious. I like to cook a few evenings a week, work on craft projects, read, and go bike/hike/see concerts. I work remotely in publishing and this space has plenty of room for both people to wfh or to use the extra space for other projects.
