Crewkerne is quaint market town punching above it's weight with number of independent offerings waiting for you to explore. Mrs B's, Bibly's or Mortimers bakery are all favourites for a light bite over lunch time, not forgetting Barley Sugar Bakehouse open Saturdays only. For evening meals we would recommend any one of The Crooked Swan, The White Hart, Bar 5 (great pizza), or even the local fish and chip shop, Tucker's (very generous portions). Slightly further afield, Lord Poulett Arms and Pip's Railway Carriage are all super.Other highlights, Bincombe Beeches is a short walk with some fantastic views over the town, the play area at Henhayes Lane / behind the Aqua centre is perfect for smaller children and the newly opened Board Game Bar is a great place to visit with friends.Further afield, the fantastic Jurassic Coast is easily accessible, with a choice between Lyme Regis, West Bay and Charmouth. The Golden Cap circular route is also very popular with guests. Inland, Ninesprings in Yeovil is a great place to explore with children. Exeter is easily reached either by car or train with lots on offer. Great shopping, Cathedral, RA Museum, Boat rides, train rides (Exmouth especially is very picturesque).
