Rent a room in Santa Monica

Hey! Thanks for checking out my post.One of my roommates is moving out of our 3 bedroom apartment at the end of the month/year, and so I'm currently on the hunt for a new roommate. The two remaining roommates are both responsible adults in our 30s, and keep to ourselves most of the time. We do like to get together for a drink at a nearby bar from time to time, or for a monthly game night, where we have a couple of friends over for food and fun.The place is in midtown Santa Monica (near the UCLA hospital). The room for rent is a nice size (10'x13'), with plenty of light, and a giant closet space. Currently, there is a bed with bed frame, desk, and dresser in the room. Happy to rent it furnished, or if you'd prefer a blank slate, we can also go from there. Brand new carpet throughout the entire apartment (installed this past April). The full bathroom would be shared with one other roommate (me). The apartment has a spacious, shared kitchen and living room area. Outside is a beautiful courtyard and community sun deck. There is also a gym on the premises that you can use for an extra $40 a month (no obligation to do this though).The beach is just one mile away and buses to SMC, UCLA, Downtown LA etc. run just one block away. Grocery store within two blocks. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are less than a mile away. Also there is a Target 3 blocks away. Less than a mile from the 3rd Street Promenade.$1400 a month plus utilities (usually run between $50-$60 a roommate). Laundry is on premises (uses an app), and the neighbors in the building are friendly and welcoming. The room includes a parking pass for street parking (the whole street is permit only so there is almost always an open spot outside our place).The room will be available on January 1st. Looking to find someone that would like to stay relatively long term, but we can also do month to month.A refundable security deposit of $1400 would also be required for move in.Expectations:- Always pay your rent in full and on time- Must be ok around a dog (unfortunately you cannot bring any animals)- Keep common areas clean- Be a courteous roommate-You will need to agree to and sign a "Roommate Agreement" form (basic "don't be a bad roommate" stuff)E
