You'll enjoy strolling along its tree-lined quays, where you can join the locals to enjoy the view, watch the boats go by, and why not even have a picnic. The entire length of the island is crossed by the rue Saint-Louis en l'île.
The island is within walking distance of many of Paris's major attractions: the Centre Pompidou, the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries Gardens, Notre-Dame Church and the Sainte Chapelle, the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain des Prés, Bastille Square and the Marais ... The nearest metro stations are Cité, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, Pont Marie and Sully-Morland. The RER B connects you directly to Paris' two international airports (CDG and Orly).
The building:
The apartment is located on the second floor of a building without elevator. Access is secured by a digicode. The windows are double-glazed and overlook the inner courtyard: the apartment is therefore particularly quiet.
Layout:
This 40 m2 apartment has a main room and an open-plan mezzanine bedroom. The main room includes a living area with a sofa bed (), desk and armchair. A dining table under the mezzanine can accommodate up to 4 guests. Note that you can stand upright under the mezzanine without any problem. The fully-equipped kitchen opens onto this space. The mezzanine contains a double bed () and cupboards.
You can also store your belongings in the closet in the main room. The bathroom includes a large shower, washbasin and toilet.
