Rent a room in Oakland

Furnished bedroom, shared bath and living space, lots of outside space. I am a middle school teacher with two cats who likes reading, cooking and gardening. I'm looking for a tidy, quiet roommate, though occasional guests are fine. It would be fun to share some meals and movie nights, but my work keeps me pretty busy. My kids, who are in grad school, come for a weekend here and there and stay in the guest room; the bathroom can get busy, then! I have a tenant in my downstairs in-law. There is ample, street parking in this friendly neighborhood up the hill from Montclair Village.
