Hello! I am looking for someone to take over my spot on a lease at Montierra Apartments. The lease currently runs until February 2025 and is rent-controlled so the price I have listed should not be raised much when signing a new one. I'm aiming for this spot to be filled around mid-September to mid-October at the latest.This listing is for a spacious private bedroom with a walk-in closet and private bathroom. The overall apartment comes with A/C, dishwasher, in-unit laundry and 2 guaranteed parking spots (one will be used by the other roommate). The kitchen and living room are shared, but there's plenty of space to move around and store your various items. The complex is a gated community and has a pool area and volleyball/basketball/tennis courts for your enjoyment. A short walk outside the complex will lead you to a variety of beautiful hiking trails if you're an outdoors type of person.Unfortunately, the $1350 rent does not include Wi-Fi or SDGE yet, so adding those 2 utilities will bring the cost to around $1500.The Montierra complex is a very peaceful/quiet area if you work a fully remote/hybrid schedule. For commuters, the 15 and 56 freeways are only a 1-5 minute drive away. For groceries/errands/shopping, there are a variety of options within a 5-6 mile radius such as Vons, Target, Trader Joe's, H-Mart (and other Asian supermarkets), Barnes and Nobles, and Costco.
