Rent a room of 83 m² in San Diego

I am an artist/writer/nonprofit leader, and I'm looking to share or fully rent out my adorable Windansea (La Jolla) cottage while my college-age son is in Chicago during the school year. The house is on a quiet street a half block from the closest... stop for the 30 bus, which goes to UCSD main campus, and about 3 blocks from the locals-favorite Marine Street beach. I also have an indoor/outdoor and extremely sweet elderly Siamese cat. I would love to host or rent out the house to a student/medical resident (preferably a graduate student, or post-doc) or faculty member of any cultural background, gender, or sexual orientation, and particularly welcome international students and faculty; the full house could accommodate 2 singles or a family of 4 with shared bedroom for the kids. I speak fluent French, and also Italian and some Spanish. I'm relaxed and easygoing, though I do mostly like my home to be a quiet sanctuary from my busy work and social life, and hope you do, too if we share the house. The room/house is fully furnished, but I can pull stuff from the room and store it if you want to bring some of your own furniture or wall hangings. Comfortable queen bed, with linens, pillows, etc. if desired. Rent is $2,500 for the shared "roommate" option and $5,500 for the full house. There is ample unmetered street parking in front of the house, large closets in the rooms, and if necessary, storage available for rent. Internet, electricity, gas, and water included in listed rent, unless your share runs over $200/month (it shouldn't).
