A purely ecologically modern apartment has lovingly grown into the existing pine beams and is particularly tailored to families. The windows offer a clear view to the east, south and west. In addition to a spacious living area with kitchen, seating area, fireplace, sofa area and roof loggia, the apartment offers a low (1.75m) roof peak with mountain hut flair and an unheated play room with table football, mini billiards and bouldering wall for children in the barn. For cloudy days, MagentaTV (including Disney+, Netflix, Prime, ...) and a small sauna are available. The bathroom has a large bathtub for two people, a shower, a urinal and a small washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has a dishwasher, an oven with steam cooking, a microwave and an electric dome grill on the weather-protected non-smoking balcony. At the top of the village, the “Post” inn invites you to enjoy a tasteful meal. Shopping is also particularly good: there is a small supermarket, a fruit and vegetable retailer, a bakery, a village butcher, an award-winning fish shop, a drugstore, a stationery store and a hairdresser. Further down in the neighboring town of Berg, cafés, ice cream shops and a pharmacy are open for you. Not far in Farchach there is a tennis court and a restaurant with a bowling alley. Die Küche hat eine Geschirrspülmaschine, neben dem Backofen mit Dampfgarung auch eine Mikrowelle und einen elektrischen Kuppel-Grill auf dem wettergeschützten Nichtraucher-Balkon. Oben im Dorf lädt das Wirtshaus „Post“ geschmackvoll zum Essen ein. Außerdem kann man besonders gut einkaufen: es gibt dort einen kleinen Supermarkt, einen Obst-&Gemüsehändler, eine Bäckerei, eine Dorfmetzgerei, einen prämierten Fischladen, eine Drogerie, einen Schreibwarenladen und einen Friseur. Weiter unten im Nachbarort Berg haben Cafés, Eisladen und eine Apotheke für Sie geöffnet. Unweit in Farchach gibt es eine Tennisanlage und eine Gaststätte mit Kegelbahn. In der Nähe befindet sich der malerische Starnberger See (Baden, Dampferfahrten, Museumsbesuche) und das für Wandern und Radfahren beliebte 5-Seen-Land. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist sehr gut. Mit dem Bus (X970) kann man gleich vor der Haustür im 20Minuten-Takt direkt ins Voralpenland fahren oder -unter einer Stunde- mit den S-Bahnen S6 & S7 ins Münchner Zentrum (mit dem Auto benötigt man ca. 30 Min).
