The building originally served the City as the main primary school, gymnasium and 800+ seat auditorium. TVM converted the building in 48 accessible residential suites along with an office and common room. The building and all amenities within are accessible to persons with physical disabilities. Kawartha Participation Project (KPP) maintains an office within this special building and delivers services to those of its clients that reside there.
