A quaint, small house in El Cajon without central heating or AC—just a small AC unit in the living room. The rent is $650, month-to-month, with utilities included (Cox, SDGE, and streaming services). You’ll have your own slightly larger room and share a bathroom with me. There’s a full-size frame and foldable mattress available, or you can bring your own. We have assigned laundry days, so no laundromat fees. Parking is included, but no pets are allowed. The landlord and her family live nearby and keep to themselves while taking care of the property. It’s not modern, but for the price, it’s great. No couples, overnight guests without notice, or parties—just a quiet space where the neighbors are friendly but respectful. Interviews/showings will be held to ensure it’s a good fit. It’s month to month because it’s a slow process but it may go to new owners eventually and with that rent will change but I figured I deal with one thing at a time.
