We are exploring the idea of privately renting our 2 bed home from mid-August. We have lived in this house for 11.5 years, both of our children have only ever known this house, and we have very lovingly renovated, extended and decorated it to high specification. A gas fireplace in the front room makes it idyllic at Christmastime, and the lounge at the rear of the extension has sliding glass doors to enjoy the south-east facing garden. We are happy to consider professionals, post-graduate students, a couple or small family with 1-2 children, with a minimum rental term of 1 year. The area is suited to those who enjoy being in a relatively quiet area but near to local villages, Bromley and Eltham. Commute to the West-End takes about 60 mins door to door from either Grove Park or Mottingham stations, and into The City it takes about 45 mins door to door. The home is situated at the very south-east tip of Lewisham, (between Grove Park, Mottingham and Chislehurst). There are loads of parks, woods, nature reserves, and the Green Chain Walk goes through our area -- however, there are still red buses and it is Lewisham, so the area is wonderfully diverse and you still feel like you are in London. The house has a 70 ft rear garden with mature trees and flowers, privacy fence, and sitting area. Tenants should be willing and able to maintain the front and back gardens to a reasonably presentable standard. Smoking outdoors is fine, but non-smoking indoors.
