Fully furnished double bedroom with own bathroom available Mondays to Fridays. Willing to consider less than 4 nights each week, at £30 per night. Accommodation for one person, in a private house with garden. Dedicated car parking space and Wi-Fi included. Space in garage for cycle. No additional household bills. Would suit professional person, contractor or student. No deposit requested but one month of guest's rent in advance is required and a checkable reference needed. Situated at one end of a small housing estate in the village of Brotton. Shops and pubs serving food nearby. Good, regular bus links throughout Redcar & Cleveland. Use of kitchen available for self-catering or meals can be provided at an additional cost of £32 per week (£8 per day.). This is the current cost for 4x light breakfasts Tues-Fri (cereal, toast, fruit, spreads etc.) and 4x main meal dinners Mon-Thurs. Can cater vegetarian. Bed linen changed and room cleaned weekly. Sorry, no smoking, no pets. Close to Saltburn-by-the-Sea (where there is a rail station), Guisborough, Whitby and Redcar. Easy commutes to York and Newcastle areas (A1 and A19). Live in landlord who works from home; part of older but active resident couple. Bus stops are at the end of our road and half hour services run into Guisborough, Saltburn and Redcar, our closest towns, and slightly further away into Middlesbrough (one direction) and Whitby (the other). By car, Saltburn is 5min, Guisborough and Redcar15-20min, Whitby 30-35min and Middlesbrough 40-45min. Excellent road links to Newcastle or York areas (A1 and A19) in little over one hour. Brotton is a small town close to the north-east coast (there is a view over the North Sea from our own bedroom at the back of the house) and not far from the North Yorkshire Moors. There are local shops, a church and three pubs (two serving food) within a few minutes walk of the house. A park is within a five minute walk and a golf club with restaurant within ten. There is a lovely coastal walk past the golf club into the Victorian town of Saltburn that takes around 30 to 40 minutes. There, you can find artisan shops, many more restaurants and cafes, a small community theatre and a funicular railway down the cliffs to the beach.
