This is one of the most authentic old farmhouse on the island of Gozo. It is over 250 years old and has been expertly converted into a four bedroomed farmhouse with a swimming pool. The farmhouse is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Kercem that forms part of the hamlet of Santa Lucija. Kercem is a very quite village with just over 1000 inhabitants on the western part of the island of Gozo and boasts of large rural areas reaching up to the cliffs. One can enjoy lovely walks to enjoy the countryside, high cliff views and lovely sunsets. Kercem is just 5 minutes by car from the capital city of Victoria. Entrance to the house is through a lovely courtyard. The hall leads to the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and a double bedroom with ensuite. All rooms are furnished with antique furniture and all are equipped with ceiling fans. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. From the kitchen and living room one can go out onto the pool area. The lovely pool is 8m by 5m large and one can find a BBQ.Two stairs, one from the outside , through the courtyard , and one internal, lead to another three bedrooms, one double bedroom with ensuite shower and two with two single beds each, both sharing a bathroom. One bedroom has a balcony and another has a terrace both enjoying fantastic views. The views from the house are breathtaking and one can see the whole island of Gozo. The farmhouse is also equipped with Cable TV. Internet service can be provided on request at an extra cost.
