1 room of 66m² in Zurich

Hello! We’re looking for a new flatmate (woman, 25-32) to join our WG! The WG We are a 9 person WG, with two people moving out in September. Of the remaining 7, 3 are women and 4 are men, all aged between 27 and 31 years old. We are 5 young professionals and 2 PhD students from the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and the US. In the WG, we mainly speak English, but we dabble in German. We enjoy doing things together: be they active (cycling, bouldering, running, trips to the mountains, a night out in the city), or more chill (cooking, watching TV shows, drinking beers, getting gelato). We of course also respect each other’s alone-time. We’re a diverse, open-minded, and friendly WG, where you will soon feel at home. The house It’s a big house: 4 floors including the basement. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, airfryer and rice cooker among other things. We have two washing machines and a dryer in the basement. There is also a small backyard with a covered hangout area, a bike shed and a grill. Once a week, a cleaning team comes to clean the common areas (kitchen, bathrooms, living room, garden, etc). The room Fully furnished: Queen size bed (1.40m wide), desk, chair, large closet, narrow book shelf. The room is on the first floor of a 4-story house with sun exposure at noon. Price: CHF 1000 per month, including internet, electricity, water, heat, and a cleaning team that comes once a week. The current tenant is planning to move out around the beginning of September, so the exact moving date can be up for discussion :). The area The neighborhood is quiet with many families. There are quite a few restaurants, cafés and sports facilities close by, like ping-pong, soccer, basketball, ASVZ sport center, outside bouldering block, Irchelpark (with alpacas!) and Käferberg. Our location is very well connected: You can easily get downtown with public transportation or by walking (10 mins to HB via tram and 30 mins by foot). The Guggachstrasse tram station is a 2 minute walk away, and Milchbuck, Bucheggplatz, Laubiweg, and Schaffhauserplatz are all within an 8 minute walk. It’s a 2 minute walk to the nearest Coop and 8 minutes to the nearest Migros. Logistics You’ll be a main tenant, just like everyone else in the house. Deposit: 1000 CHF, paid to the company managing the property. Move-in: around early September. We are looking for a woman between 25 and 32 years old, so we can keep a balanced mix in the house and to ensure that we’re all in similar life stages.
