My flatmate is moving out at the end of our tenancy, so I’m looking for someone lovely to move in. The apartment is genuinely gorgeous and right on the marina in Ancoats, with the Northern Quarter just a short walk away. There’s a large balcony that’s perfect for summer sunning, a spacious open-plan living area, and a fab kitchen that actually makes you want to cook. The building also has a gym, communal spaces, and a car park (though I’m told there’s a long waiting list for parking). The double bedroom is a great size and comes with a walk-in wardrobe and a large en-suite. The room can be furnished or unfurnished. My current flatmate is hoping to sell her bedroom and bathroom furniture as a bundle for £850 (open to discussion). This includes a bed frame with slats and an Emma mattress, chest of drawers, chair, stool, two bamboo bedside tables, bamboo bathroom storage, a small green and gold bathroom unit, bin, toilet brush holder, bath caddy and frames. Most items were bought around a year ago; the mirror and storage shelves (two 4-cube hallway units for shoe storage and one 2-cube unit) are slightly older but still in great condition. I work full-time for a social enterprise in the city centre, splitting my time between the office and working from home. I’m looking for someone clean, tidy, past the heavy party phase, but open to becoming friends - ideally someone who’s up for a chat at the end of the day or the occasional glass of wine on the balcony. Bills come to approx £190 each a month. This includes council tax, water, electricity and internet.
