The house was built during the Wilhelminian period and was used for military purposes in the first decades. The entire campus is a listed building. A spacious staircase welcomes you. The ambience is characterised by the approx. 3.60m high ceilings, the open living-dining area, as well as the view into the green inner courtyard (balcony with seating area). The furnishing of this flat follows the "Eames x Girard" principle. The designer Alexandre Girard further developed the now very well-known Plastic Chairs by Charles & Ray Eames for the furnishing of the restaurant "La Fonda del Sol" in 1961. Two such chairs stand as vintage classics at the dining table. The entire design was put together by the interior designer in a warm Scandinavian style around the design language of Eames and Girard.
