Lovely large downstairs room in detached house with large garden and terrace overlooking the woods. Share of (with one other) a beautiful bathroom with stand alone bath and walk in shower, only used regularly by yourself and one other part time lodger. A downstairs separate toilet is also available to use. WfiFi mesh system, so wifi is good and 1GBT high speed with Virgin. This room is currently a second living room until we find a lodger this time, with original wooden floor, feature fireplace and includes wall mounted TV with Virgin, plus ethernet wall points x2, this room can come furnished with a double bed, and or large or smaller futon sofabed, chest of drawers, ikea shelving unit and clothes rail or completely unfurnished, can be discussed, the rug will be moved out and pink curtains can be replaced with plain ones. We have a communal living room leading to a large dining area and kitchen plus a separate utility room. We also have an open or enclosed veranda (March-Oct use) and plenty of deckng space, and I have my own private living room and bathroom upstairs, my son has his own relaxing space and bathroom in the loft. We are friendly and sociable people but also can be working long hours and keep ourselves to ourselves, don't have visitors in the house often and I am away quite a bit. I have lived alongside airbnb guests and lodgers in a guest house I own in Sommerset for a while, I have managed HMOs and been in house shares myself so I am flexible and reasonable with others sharing spaces. Full time arrangement would be considered for a higher rent of £1000pcm. The property is located on a secondary main road, set back with a large drive, and backs on to Sydenham & Dulwich woods, the rear of the house has a leafy, quiet view over the long garden and woods behind, you wouldn't know you were in London. You'd be lodging with myself (female) and my grown up son (20) plus a black Labrador dog and rag doll cat and one other mature part time male lodger who shares the main bathroom. My son and I both have our own en-suite full bathrooms and he is at the top of the house tucked away. We are a health conscious, creative, musical and upbeat household. I am a Reiki practitioner and sound healer (I have a studio in the garden) and my son a music producer (with a studio use elsewhere!), our other part time lodger is a friendly professional with a family elsewhere. We would like to share our lovely space with another respectful, secure and happy person. Meat eaters need to be respectful of a vegetarian in the house. Rent is inclusive of bills and weekly cleaner. Two references required (one must be your current employer). Wireless broadband internet (fast 1GBT) Transport links – located 10-12 min walk from Forest Hill overground (Windrush line) station, allowing for easy access to central London/London Bridge. Buses run frequently with direct routes to Oxford Street and Victoria plus a night bus 176 Buses 185, 176 (night bus also) to Victoria and Lecister Sq, P4 to Brixton are a 3 min walk, 185 and 176 buses take you to Denmark Hill Station and King's College Hospital, P4 to Brixton and through Dulwich Village. 363 (& N63 night bus to Kings Cross) takes you to Peckham and beyond to Elephant & Castle.
