Me and my partner are moving out and are looking for someone to take over this lovely 1-bed apartment. It’s a cosy, spacious flat in a calm, quiet area that avoids all the city noise, while still being just a stone’s throw from the centre. The living room is bright and comfy, and there’s a cute little balcony for fresh air or a morning coffee. The kitchen is well-equipped with loads of storage, and the bedroom comes with plenty of furniture and a wardrobe that actually fits a lot. The bathroom has a bathtub and mirror storage, and you also get a washer–dryer, a big utility cupboard and extra space for coats and cleaning bits. Everything you need is close by: Aviva Studios, the big Sainsbury’s, JD Gym, Costa, TK Maxx and Boots are all within 8 minutes (I’ve genuinely timed it). The building is gated and safe, with a communal workspace, regular events, a café, a Co-op and lovely canal walks just outside — especially great in summer. It’s a peaceful, practical and genuinely easy place to live. Move-in date is not fixed yet (based on referencing and me finding an apartment for myself as well.. hahaha)
