Romanians. when building a house, tend to think vertical and three-floor homes are the most common design. The Landlords here approached the concept differently and built this four-bedroom house on one level throughout. Great if you want the kids near rather than hiding away upstairs, or if you just the stairs or you have someone in a wheelchair. The house isn`t huge at 160 usable sqm inside, but it feels a lot better because there is so little wasted space with stairs and extra hallways. The kitchen is open to further open up the sociability of the home and the garden is BIG. Parking for four cars. I really loved the tall ceilings and generous incorporation of skylights to let the light pour into the voluminous rooms. A couple of cherry trees were bearing fruit when I visited, most yummy. The house has good use of solar and batteries allowing, they said, for constant use of the AC without pulling anything off the grid. The house is in a compound of seven houses, this is the biggest of the seven. Located a bit off piste, but just walking distance to AISB. There is also a public bus for those children not so inclined.
