A calm, stylish weekday base in a Victorian conversion in Finsbury Park — a quiet room in a thought-through home suited to someone who works on‑site during the day and wants a peaceful place to come back to in the evening during the week. The room is a good‑sized, genuinely quiet double (single occupancy) in a split‑level Victorian conversion. There’s proper storage, a separate work area, and enough space to decompress after a day's work. The flat has a large kitchen with a breakfast bar and a modern bathroom/wet room. Residents’ parking is available right outside, and Finsbury Park station is just a 10 mins walk away. The neighbourhood has everything within short walking distance — supermarkets, cafés, cinemas, pharmacies, hairdressers — plus the park itself, including tennis courts, for a bit of green sanity is a mere 800 metres away. A bit about me: I’m a creative, outgoing marketing consultant by day and involved with a local theatre in the evenings. My interests range from travel and fitness to design, literature and the performing arts. I’ve lived in London most of my life and still enjoy discovering its odd corners — canal paths, rooftop hideaways, and the occasional eclectic drinks gathering. What I’m looking for is simple: a professional who works on‑site during the day and wants a calm, reliable Monday–Friday home. My last weekday lodger and I had the perfect rhythm — he left early for work, I started later, and we passed like friendly ships in the night. It kept the flat peaceful, predictable and genuinely pleasant for both of us. With a background in hospitality and a successful run as an Airbnb Superhost, I keep the place welcoming, organised and easy to live in — a proper home‑away‑from‑home, minus the weekend chaos. Finsbury Park benefits from two Underground lines - Piccadilly and Victoria - as well as mainline services to practically any part of the UK. The London Overground is even closer for direct travel to Hampstead (west) or Walthamstow (east) and beyond. All London airports can either be reached directly from Finsbury Park (London Heathrow and Gatwick) or require one interchange at most (Stansted and Luton). St Pancras International/Eurostar is just two stops away on the Underground so, technically, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam are only three stops on public transport away. Buses go to Brent Cross in the North and Battersea in the South, with the nearest bus stop at the end of the street less than 3 minutes away. Plenty of Lime bikes available in the area. The flat is located in London N4, (Stroud Green also known as Finsbury Park) All major supermarkets are within walking distance and the high street at the end of the road features everything from dry-cleaner and hairdresser to pharmacies and physiotherapist. Delis, organic/wholefood outlets, wine bars and a variety of great pubs are less than five minutes away. The area also boasts one of London's best loved neighbourhood theatres plus a number of cinemas, not to mention the iconic Rowan's Bowling Lanes. To escape from the hustle and bustle of London simply turn the other way when you leave the flat and in under five minutes you'll find yourself on the stunning, foliage-filled Parkland Walk for a tranquil stroll, either taking you directly into the nearby Finsbury Park or towards Highgate. Other places for rest and relaxation include the Woodberry Wetlands and, a short bus ride away, Hampstead Heath and Alexandra Palace
