1 room apartment of 40m² in Berlin

English: The studio is situated in the unique building - it used to be the main office of a big international company. About 5 years ago all the representatives of this great company moved into the new office. And their old office building was completely renovated and transformed into a huge apartment complex with little apts. I would recommed this studio for those of you, who needs a fair-priced place to stay near Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain and Alexanderplatz - center of East Berlin. One of the most attractive points here is public transport availability: the entrance to subway station is located literally in front of the house. The size of the studio is about 40 m2 and the place is rented out, coz I moved to my girlfriend, who has a bigger space. There´re a little double bed (), a wardrobe at the entrance, a table with 4 chairs. There´s nothing special in the design of the studio. The real pearl of that place is a big window throughout the wall: the view from the window to the rooftops of the surrounding is amazing! The studio would be not suitable for those of you, who would like to sleep till 12, coz the windows come to the road with intensive traffic. I find it ideal for those newcomers, whose budget is limited, who have no special needs. And of course you should keep in mind the price-quality ratio... German: Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem einzigartigen Geschäftsgebäude, was Mitte 90-er in die Wohnungen umgebaut wurde. Aus diesem Grund sieht das Haus ziemlich untypisch aus und verfügt über kleine Besonderheiten, die man kaum in einem Wohnhaus finden kann. Einer würde sagen "cool und modern", der andere - "erinnert mich an Studentenwohnheim". Die Menschen sind ja unterschiedlich :) Die Wohnung ist grundsätzlich ein Studio und die Fläche beträgt ca. 40 m2. Wegen kleinem Wohnraum wollte ich das Studio nicht mit Möbel oder Dekorationen überlasten. Es gibt nur die notwendigsten Sachen: ein Doppelbett () mit Nachtschränken, Kleiderschrank, Esstisch mit 4 Stühlen. Der Blick aus dem Fenster über die Dächer der quirlenden Stadt finde ich persönlich sehr malerisch, wenn nicht sogar spektakulär. Ich vermiete die Unterkunft grundsätzlich nicht, um das Geschäft zu machen. Ich bin zu meiner Freundin umgezogen, die eine größere Wohnung hat. Allerdings möchte ich das Gefühl von Sicherheit haben, dass mein eigenes Eckchen auf mich wartet, falls was mit der Beziehung passiert... Grundsätzlich erziele ich ganz wenig oder gar kein Gewinn. Falls was sich von der Vermietung doch sammelt, investiere ich gerne in die Unterkunft selbst: Streichen, Dekorationen, neuer Geschirrspüler, hochwertige Jalousien nach Maß - das sind die Sachen, die auch mit eurer Hilfe finanziert wurden. Jede Buchung macht dieses Studio ein bisschen besser und das Leben komfortabler! Ich persönlich würde diese Unterkunft als eine günstige Alternative zu den teuren Aparthotels in Kreuzberg und Friedrichshain empfehlen. Hier bekommt man alles, was man für Komforts benötigt: frisches Bett, Dusche, WLAN, Kochmöglichkeiten und sehr gute Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel zum fairen Preis. Also natürlich muss man Preis/Qualität im Kopf halten.
