Saharan oasis meets Barcelona bliss in this 60 square meter gem. Tenere is located in Barcelona’s trendy Gracia neighborhood. Here, guests are encouraged to pop into the many local pastry shops, tapas bars, or sun-baked plazas. Beyond the neighborhood haunts, Tenere’s building has plenty to offer with a rooftop pool and solarium for guests to enjoy on Barcelona’s sunniest of days. When it’s time to unwind, head into the one-bedroom, one-bathroom beauty for continued luxury. From the moment of arrival, Tenere opens up to a luminous, open-concept living, dining, and kitchen space. Nearest to the entry is an artfully designed salon. A natural fiber rug rests under the hand-selected furnishings. The left wall is lined with the kitchen area equipped with modern appliances and all the necessary cooking utensils. At the end of the space is a four-person dining set with unique-woven lighting hanging overhead. The opposing wall pours natural light into the room with the double french doors. To the left of the dining area, a small hallway shows the bathroom straight on. An adept blend of local and Saharan design intersects. Travertine mixes with traditional Catalan tiles. Soft touches like the hanging lanterns and amber-hued accessories make the space feel like a Saharan spa. The bathroom is complete with an exposed rain shower. Tenere concludes with an exquisite bedroom setting. Playing with light and shadows, the dimensional, keyhole-shaped wall feature acts as a bed frame for the queen-sized bed in the center with uplighting overhead. To the left of the bed is a walk-in closet. The far wall of the bedroom is reserved for a dedicated workstation. Lastly, the room radiates sunlight with the final set of french doors.
