Good, American-style living option in a closed compound with high security, enforced speed-zone streets, lots of expats and kids in the most suburban-like community in Bucharest. Sometimes, with everything else we have to worry about when moving to a new country we just want the easiest most comfortable and familiar solution and I think this compound and this house specifically answer that brief. You could be almost anywhere in suburbia USA and not feel anything is amiss. The house itself has an easy layout with all bedrooms having en-suite bathroom facilities, a big covered terrace off the living room and kitchen in the back of the house, a wood-burning fireplace, a garage, yard and a nice remodeled attic with bathroom as that fourth bedroom or study. One bedroom, living, bathroom, kitchen, laundry room and technical room on the ground floor. Three en-suite bedrooms upstairs. The house is a ten minute walk to the American International School and it`s a safe walk with a proper sidewalk and a crossing guard on school-days. House is also close to the forest which is nice for little adventures or hard-charging rough-country hikes.
